• An optional nickname you may set for the AI coach to address you by

Sign-in uses one-time email codes; we do not store a password.

1.2 Profile & Fitness Information

• Age range and gender
• Fitness level, goals, and benchmarks
• Exercise preferences
• Available equipment
• Injury details, including pain levels and — if you volunteer it — how and when the injury occurred and whether you have seen a medical professional
• Movement restrictions
• Pregnancy or postpartum information you voluntarily provide (such as status, due or delivery date, delivery type, and related symptoms)
• Workout history, logged weights, and other recovery-related information you voluntarily provide

1.3 In-App Communications

• Chat entries related to workout personalization

1.4 Usage, Device & Subscription Data

• App interaction data
• Device information
• Subscription status and payment-related identifiers created by our payment providers (such as a Stripe customer reference or an Apple / Google transaction identifier). We never see or store your card number.

We collect this information directly from you when you create an account, complete intake forms, interact with the app, or use AI-powered features.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

• Generate safe, personalized workout programs
• Adapt exercise recommendations based on user inputs
• Improve app functionality and user experience
• Process subscriptions and payments
• Provide customer support
• Maintain platform security
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell personal data.

3. Artificial Intelligence Processing & Third-Party Services

3.1 AI Workout Personalization

Bounce Back Smart uses artificial intelligence (“AI”) services provided by OpenAI to generate personalized workout programs. Our own application infrastructure is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS).

To create customized workout recommendations, the following user-provided information may be securely transmitted to OpenAI:

• Injury details (including pain levels and — if you share it — how the injury occurred)
• Movement restrictions
• Pregnancy or postpartum status, if you share it
• Age range and gender
• Fitness level and goals
• Exercise preferences
• Available equipment
• In-app chat entries related to workout creation
• Your optional coach nickname, if you set one — this is the only name ever shared with the AI service

The following data is not transmitted to the AI service for workout generation:

• Account name (your full name)
• Email address
• Phone number
• Payment information
• Home address
• Government identification numbers

All data transmitted for AI processing is encrypted in transit.

AI-generated outputs are used solely to generate personalized fitness programming within the application. Data transmitted for AI processing is not sold, not used for advertising purposes, and is not used to train publicly available AI models.

OpenAI maintains industry-standard security certifications, including SOC 2.

3.2 User Consent for AI Processing

Before transmitting fitness-related information to our third-party AI service provider, the app presents a clear disclosure explaining:

• What categories of data will be transmitted
• The identity of the third-party service provider (OpenAI)
• The purpose of transmission

The app requires the user’s affirmative consent before AI-powered features are activated. If a user declines consent, AI-based personalization features will not be available.

By providing consent within the app and using AI-powered features, you authorize Bounce Back Smart to transmit the specified fitness-related information to OpenAI for processing.

4. Data Sharing

We share limited personal information only as necessary to operate and improve the Service.

Third-party service providers include:

• OpenAI – AI workout personalization (see Section 3)
• Amazon Web Services (AWS) – application hosting, media delivery, and email delivery
• Stripe – payment and subscription processing for web purchases
• Apple App Store and Google Play – in-app purchase and subscription processing
• Kit (ConvertKit) – newsletter delivery, only if you subscribe to our newsletter on our website

These service providers are contractually obligated to maintain appropriate confidentiality and security protections.

We do not sell personal data.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to:

• Provide the Service
• Comply with legal obligations
• Resolve disputes
• Enforce our agreements

You can permanently delete your account and personal information at any time directly in the app (Profile → Delete My Account), or by contacting support.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

7. Health Information Disclaimer

Bounce Back Smart is a fitness and wellness application. It is not a medical treatment platform.

Any health-related information provided through the app is used solely to personalize workouts and does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Use of the app does not create a physician-patient or healthcare provider-patient relationship.

Users should consult a qualified healthcare professional before beginning any exercise program, particularly if they have an injury, chronic condition, or medical concern.

8. Your Choices

You may:

• Update account information within the app
• Opt out of marketing communications
• Permanently delete your account and personal data directly in the app (Profile → Delete My Account)
• Request deletion of personal data by contacting support

9. Children’s Privacy

Bounce Back Smart does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If we learn that such information has been collected, we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Updated versions will be posted within the app or website with a revised effective date.
