Bounce Back Smart (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how it is shared, and the choices you have regarding your data.

You may choose to connect a health or wearable source, such as Apple Health, an Oura Ring, or a WHOOP band. This is entirely optional — the app works fully without it, we never connect a source without you granting access, and you can disconnect at any time.

Not every source provides every field. WHOOP, for example, does not report a step count, so those days will show none.
Alongside the values we use, we retain the provider's daily summary so that a scoring change on their side can be reconciled without asking you to reconnect. We remove the detailed minute-by-minute series — such as continuous heart-rate, movement and sleep-stage readings — and keep only the day-level summary. We do not request continuous heart-rate data, and we do not request clinical measurements such as blood oxygen or body temperature; where a provider returns such values alongside data we did request, we discard them before anything is stored.
We use this information only to understand your recovery and training load. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising.
You can disconnect at any time from within the app, and you can also revoke our access directly with the provider. When you disconnect, we delete the health data we received from that provider.

Bounce Back Smart uses artificial intelligence (“AI”) services provided by OpenAI to generate personalized workout programs. Our own application infrastructure is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS).

AI-generated outputs are used solely to generate personalized fitness programming within the application. Data transmitted for AI processing is not sold, not used for advertising purposes, and is not used to train publicly available AI models.

Before transmitting fitness-related information to our third-party AI service provider, the app presents a clear disclosure explaining:
The app requires the user’s affirmative consent before AI-powered features are activated. If a user declines consent, AI-based personalization features will not be available. If we add a new category of information to what is sent, we will ask for your consent again.
By providing consent within the app and using AI-powered features, you authorize Bounce Back Smart to transmit the specified fitness-related information to OpenAI for processing.

If you connect your account to a personal trainer or clinic, they can see only the categories of information shown to you on the connection screen before you agree (for example your program phase, adherence, workout calendar, and whether your reported pain is trending up, down, or steady). They do not see your AI coach conversations, payment details, wearable data, or body composition measurements. You can disconnect at any time in the app, and they will stop receiving new information.

Bounce Back Smart is a fitness and wellness application. It is not a medical treatment platform.
Any health-related information provided through the app is used solely to personalize workouts and does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Use of the app does not create a physician-patient or healthcare provider-patient relationship.
Users should consult a qualified healthcare professional before beginning any exercise program, particularly if they have an injury, chronic condition, or medical concern.

Bounce Back Smart does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If we learn that such information has been collected, we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
